(Acts 15:5-20)

How can we "not make it hard" for those turning to God?

Christ told his apostles to take the Gospel message to every nation (Matt 28:19-20), but he did not mean only to the Jews in those nations. He meant that the Gospel was for everyone. But did he mean that Gentile believers were to become Jewish? This was a very serious question for the apostles because Jesus was the Messiah that God had promised to the Jews, and the early church was comprised mostly of Jews. This message looks at the key issues highlighted in this passage that deal with how the early church dealt with Gentiles who were becoming Christians in a church culture born initially out of the Jewish faith. It still applies today.
